The email module allows the Labtrac user to email documents to Dentists who have been configured with email address and preferences. The following documents are available to send:
The module is straight forward to use and allows the user to customise the email greeting for each dentist as well as configure the email message for each of the document types. The cost savings in terms of stationery, postage, and man power make this a very attractive option
This facility enables bar code labels (showing Case number and Due date) to be printed at Case entry, which can then be attached to the Dentist’s prescription. With the use of a Bar code scanner, linked to a PC via a USB connection, the ticket can be scanned and the job retrieved instantly

This facility provides the ability for Technicians to book off the work they have completed using a Bar code scanner linked to a standard networked PC. It allows technicians to enter their own code and update the tasks on jobs that they have completed. Technicians only get access to tasks that are defined for the Department(s) in which they work.
